Experience & Background:
After a business degree, Richard Vigar qualified as a Chartered Accountant
in 1973 and joined the Leeds office of Price Waterhouse & Co, now Price
Waterhouse Coopers. In 1976, Richard joined as a Director of Camamile
Associates, a firm of Chartered Accountants, which still specialises in
Consultancy work. Largely as a result of pressure from clients he then
co-founded the Partnership Wright Vigar Chartered Accountants in 1977. The
purpose of the Partnership was to undertake the compliance work being
requested by clients. During the last 25 years Richard has gained a vast
amount of experience consulting on Trust Work, undertaking Tax Planning and
managing Compliance work. However, during the last 5-7 years an increasing
amount of his time has been occupied by Forensic work and in particular
Joint Expert Witness cases, Damages for Breach of Patents, Loss of Earnings
claims, Partnership Breakdowns, Share Valuations and Divorce work.
