Qualifications, Experience:

Dr Wilson has daily experience of examining food, water and environmental
microbiology samples within a busy teaching hospital. He provides an
advisory service and assists in the investigation and control of food
poisoning outbreaks. He works with the Food Standards Agency, Local
Authorities, Health protection Agency, and food producers. Active
involvement in research, national committees, and surveillance enable him to
identify the probable source of many infections. This often enhances
reports by physicians on the patient's condition. His experience enables
him to respond to unusual cases which often arise in this field. He has
received over 30 expert witness instructions from throughout the UK,
including as Single Joint Expert. Rapid reporting within a week or two is
often possible.
