Tim White is a Chartered Chemist and Managing Director of Marquis and Lord. He specialises in liability management allied to risks arising from changes in potable water quality associated with the ownership or occupancy of premises. He has also advised an insurance company, specialising in Œbrownfield‚ land risks, on the significance of changes in policy practice and legislation which could affect underwriting of potentially contaminated sites.

He is trained and experienced in the required formalities of practice as an expert witness. In this capacity he has been able to bring considerable forensic experience to bear when providing reports on causation relative to claims of all types. His key areas of technical expertise related to materials degradation and their impact on substances in contact with them. This has given him the ability to interpret data in a variety of material defect areas such as food packaging, building materials and printed products.
