I specialise in the preparation of psychological reports on the effects of road traffic accidents, stress and other trauma for the courts/insurers as an expert witness, and I am listed with the UK Register of Expert Witnesses and with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).  

I have prepared more than 600 psycho-legal reports on the effects of road traffic accidents, stress at work, and other trauma since 1987, submitting on average more than 50 reports each year.

I am Registered as a Psychologist Specialising in Psychotherapy with Senior Practitioner Status with the British Psychological Society. I offer psychological therapy to adults experiencing difficulties after accidents and other trauma, as well as working with individuals experiencing other psychological problems.

I provide psychology services to Hampshire Police.

I am a senior lecturer (part-time), and teach clinical and counselling psychology at the University of Portsmouth.

From my base at the International Centre for Research in Forensic Psychology at the University of Portsmouth, I am conducting research into whiplash, phobic travel anxiety, malingering and stress at work.

I have published, and continue to publish, numerous papers in academic and professional journals.
