I am in active clinical practice and 50% of my work is medico-legal with 40 years of wide and intensive experience, mainly for plaintiffs but also for defendants, as well as Royal Commissions before all courts and tribunals in Australia, ie. High Court, Supreme Court, District Court, Workers' Compensation Court, Family Court, Magistrates' Court, as well as expert advice to The Protective Commissioner in regard to life expectancy and current and future medical and social needs.

PAST EXPERIENCE:
Academic teaching in anatomy, physiology and biochemistry, teaching hospital appointments in Sydney, the UK and (visiting) The University of California, San Francisco. RMO, then Honorary Physician, then Visiting Physician at Sydney Hospital, Hon Physician at Prince of Wales Hospital (Cancer Research and Treatment Unit), Physician and Chief of Medicine at Rachel Forster Hospital, 10 years as Visiting Consultant to Macquarie Hospital (Psychiatric), five years post-graduate experience including Senior Registrar in teaching and non-teaching hospitals in the UK in the areas of Cardiology, Respiratory Medicine, Paediatrics, Neurology, Diabetes and Endocrinology and Rheumatology; hospital delegate to Medical Post-graduate Committee of The University of Sydney.
Also, precedent-setting opinions in asbestosis and mesothelioma, smoking-related illness, major maritime and air disaster cases, toxic exposure, and failure to warn liability. As well, I have been past Chairman of the WHO Standing Committee in NSW.

Currently also Honorary Medical Adviser to the Occupational Health and Safety Service at Sydney Hospital and Consultant Physician to the NSW Fire Brigades.
