Gerald Dworkin is a professional Aquatics Safety and Water Rescue Consultant for Lifesaving Resources Inc.  Dworkin is a graduate from the University of Bridgeport, and has over 30 years of professional experience in the field of Aquatics Safety, Water Rescue, Firefighting, EMS, etc.  Dworkin worked for the American Red Cross for 14 years as a Health and Safety Services Professional; has been a career and volunteer Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician, as well as an EMS Instructor; and is a noted author, public speaker, and educator.  Dworkin has published more than 30 articles and several textbooks, including the Professional Aquatics Safety Seminar Guidebook; the Water Rescue Training Guidebook; the Ice Rescue Training Guidebook; and the Lifeguard Competition Guidebook.  Dworkin has consulted on over 130 drowning and aquatic injury litigation cases, and is available globally as an Expert Witness.
