Expert Reconstruction Company was founded in 1999 by Christopher Gayner. At that time Mr. Gayner was already well established as a competent and respected accident analyst and expert witness after the culmination of his 12 year tenure as vice president of a prominent California vehicle safety research firm.

Mr. Gayner holds a Master of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering with high honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara.  In addition, he has completed over 25 specialized training courses pertaining to traffic accident analysis.

Mr. Gayner has carefully reconstructed more than 1000 traffic accidents over his 24 year career while being retained in equal proportions by high quality plaintiff and defense attorneys throughout California and the United States. Mr. Gayner has testified as an expert witness approximately 250 times at trials, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations throughout the United States in multiple venues, courts and jurisdictions.
