Stan has been on the ski slopes for much of his life, and he remains a current participant in the continued evolution of the snow sports industry notably in the area of skier and snow boarder safety issues. As a working head river guide/trainer he also has considerable expertise in river safety issues.

1996 - 1997 international teacher exchange program New South Wales, Australia, visually impaired, itinerant resource teacher and consultant;

Professional River Guiding:
Head River Guide- 1996 - present, open boat canoes, Centennial Canoe Outfitters
. and Canyon Passages Inc., licensed in Utah and registered in Colorado. Responsible for 20 - 30 clients of all ages and abilities for 3 - 5 day trips on rivers in Colorado and Utah, safety instruction, river rescue, river safety guide trainer.
